Razer Pro Click

Razerthink – Although Razer is well known as a gaming device brand, it has several devices targeted at workers, such as the Razer Pro Click Mini mouse. The Razer Pro Click Mini impresses professionals with its modern, white design, unlike other Razer products. There are no flickering RGB lights found on this mouse. The Razer Pro Click is a fantastic wireless mouse built for general productivity. It feels very well made, has an ergonomic shape that is comfortable for most hand and grip sizes, and the buttons are clickable and satisfying.

The polling rate can be up to 1000Hz and can be adjusted to provide smooth cursor movement, and the bus scroll wheel is tilted for horizontal scrolling. It can be connected via wireless USB or Bluetooth and allows you to pair four devices simultaneously, which is great for multitasking. Unfortunately, while the performance is good enough to satisfy most gamers, it’s a bit heavy for playing FPS games and may not have enough buttons for some MMO players. Its large size makes it less portable but provides a compartment to store a USB receiver.

The Razer Pro Click is a right-handed eight-button mouse.  Measuring 5.06 by 3.13 by 1.88 inches (LWH) and weighing 3.67 ounces, this mouse looks more significant than it is. In particular, the thumb support “wing” on the left adds a lot of width but doesn’t make the mouse heavy. The best and most crucial element of Pro Click is its convenient form. The mouse base tilts up to a high hump under your right thumb, which guides your hand into a comfortable position along with the various curves on the top and sides. Thumb wings give you a way to rest your thumb without gripping the sides, reducing the strain on your hand. Razer consulted with ergonomic design consultant Humanscale to make designs better for your hands.

Design

The Razer Pro Click was created for productivity rather than for gamers or those expecting RGB lighting, which we often see on Razer gaming mice. This mouse screams the work environment and gives the feel of a premium look.

The build quality is so incredible. for horizontal scrolling. It can be connected via wireless USB or rubberized grips on the sides. It feels solid; however, pressing the left side may cause the input to be registered. That said, it does require a bit of power and shouldn’t be a problem for most people.

There is a slight rattling sound when shaking the mouse, most likely from the scroll wheel. PTFE feet provide a smooth glide, and the buttons click and are satisfying. Razer Pro Click is pretty big, as it is long and has a large hump. That said, it’s wireless and has a compartment to store the wireless USB receiver in case you don’t want to use Bluetooth.

Razer Pro Click is comfortable to use.

It has an ergonomic shape that is perfect for most grips and hand sizes but is for right-handed use only. Like many non-vertical ergonomic mice, this one tilts slightly to reduce pressure on the wrist. The side grips are comfortable, and the thumb buttons are well placed and easy to reach.

The Razer Pro Click is designed for productivity and deficiency the gamer aesthetic or RGB lighting we often see on Razer gaming mice. It has a white and gray color scheme that doesn’t stand out in a work environment, and metallic accents on the sides and scroll wheel give it a premium look.

There is almost no sound when the mouse is clicked, so it is not noisy. But the feeling of clicking the mouse is still felt on the fingers, so it doesn’t confuse whether the mouse has been clicked or not. Apart from the standard mouse components such as the left and right mouse buttons and the scroll wheel, there are also two extra programmable buttons on the left side of the mouse.

Feature

The mouse has six inputs on top: Left-click, right-click, and the cursor speed or DPI preset cycle button in the center, just below the scroll wheel. The scroll wheel is excellent. Not only is it metal with a lovely textured scrolling surface, but it has three inputs: Regular clicks, plus the ability to tilt the wheel left and right. By default, tilting left scrolls up and listing right scrolls down. Still, all input is fully customizable, and having the two extra buttons within easy reach is a welcome invitation to customize your mouse for a specific task. On the side, you have two minor rewind and forward buttons.

You’ll also find some logistical inputs at the bottom of the mouse. If you flip it over, you’ll find a switch to switch between Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz wireless, a Bluetooth pairing button, and a small removable panel showing where to store the mouse’s USB wireless receiver. Surprisingly, the built-in dongle storage is not provided, although it is very convenient.

The Pro Click has the heart of a gaming mouse.

The Razer 5G Advanced’s optical sensor can accurately track up to 16,000 dots per inch (DPI). That means faster cursor speeds than anyone has ever used reasonable for most tasks, even with some 4K monitors. Pro Click brings the best functionality for productivity tools as a wireless mouse. Both Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz wireless connections work smoothly. Razer add-on multi-device sync, so you can connect up to three devices via Bluetooth and a fourth via a USB receiver.

Is This lets you quickly switch between using the mouse on your desktop, laptop, phone, or any other device with Bluetooth mouse support. This is a time-saving feature for workers who regularly switch between home machines and work laptops during the day. Consider Pro Click an excellent tool for working from home.

Pro Click also gets excellent battery life. According to Razer, its internal battery can last up to 400 hours on a single charge when connected via Bluetooth and 200 hours via 2.4 GHz. Once fully charged, I didn’t need to recharge after more than a week of testing, switching between the two. When you need to recharge, you can use the micro USB charging cable to make a wired connection while you charge. But sadly, that’s why Razer decided not to add a Micro USB Type-C to the Pro Click mouse as it did to the Pro Type mechanical keyboard. Given that the two are a de facto pair, it would be nice to both charge them with a single cable.

Compatible Software

Razer Synapses has a smooth appearance that pleases the eye, and navigation is easy to understand. Here, you can configure macro functions, including RGB effects. Unfortunately, the Razer Pro Click does not have RGB lighting. These Razer Synapses support Razer’s configuration program, Synapse, for customization. With Synapse, you can remap the Pro Click’s eight buttons, create macros, and save application-specific profiles with different configurations. You can also customize the mouse’s five DPI settings, which can be rotated using the center button.

Synapse is generally one of the best configuration programs out there, and it’s very beneficial for productivity. The program is clean, intuitive, and easy to read. This is a plus because users no longer need to download the software separately, such as from the product’s official website. Here, users can refuse to install the Razer Synapse software, but this makes the features and functions not maximized.

Note: See our post, follow the steps we have written about How to install Razer Synapse 3
